We founded Origin Expeditions upon the belief that just as we impact our environment, it can have an impact on us. Helping people build relationships and understanding with the natural world is crucial in cultivating a sustainable and cohesive future for our planet. Those who understand their connection with and reliance on the health of our planet feel inspired to live sustainably and care for natural resources.

We seek to help youth and adults build this connection by providing guides, classes, immersive programs and research. We believe that through the information and experiences we provide, we can help create a community motivated to protect and preserve the Great Lakes Region.

We cannot do this without your help. There are many ways, big and small, that you can contribute.

• Subscribe to our newsletter and social media pages, allowing our website to attract more searches on Google and expand our network.

• Volunteer as a chaperone, trip leader or fundraiser using our contact page.

• Share our pages with people you know.

• Be a guest contributor to our Outdoor Recreation and Environmental blogs (coming soon).

• Donate. We accept both equipment and monetary donations. Your money helps us host trips where we help impact clients' lives and conduct research on the benefits of wilderness immersion.
