Paying It Forward

I am excited to share several developments for Origin Expeditions.

With new partnerships in the Traverse City region, I am thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a 5-day canoe trip on the Manistee River from August 4 through August 8 of 2020. With the help of our partners and contributions from Founders Brewing Company, the Sand Hill Angels, the Richlie Family, and several other generous donors, we can host a total of ten scholarship recipients on this trip!

Our partners up north offered to donate resources such as canoes, camping equipment, and transportation for any of our trips. Contributions like these vastly reduce our programs' operating costs, allowing us to run them more often and offer scholarships to more students. Origin can now begin orienting towards building more prolonged, immersive programs. We currently accept applications throughout the year and host trips as funding becomes available.
